Michael Spindler, LCSW

Mr. Spindler, a graduate of Smith College School for Social Work, has been providing residential treatment services since 1976. He worked for the Jewish Child Care Association of New York (JCCA) from 1976 to 2017. During his career with the JCCA, which provides services to over 16,000 children and families annually, he served in the positions of Director of Residential Programs, Vice President for Residential Treatment Services, Senior Vice President for Residential and Foster Home Services, and, lastly, was Chief Operating Officer from 2004 to 2017.

Mr. Spindler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with post graduate education focusing on personality development, diagnosis, and psychotherapy. He is trained in the Sanctuary Model and Trauma Informed Treatment Model. He has proven performance at high levels of management, leadership, team building, planning, organizing, and problem solving, with a strong record of achievement in providing the necessary care and treatment to those in need of clinical intervention and help. Mr. Spindler’s views on residential treatment services have been published and he is considered an expert in the field of residential treatment services for children and adolescents.

Mr. Spindler has been a consultant for Never Give Up Youth Healing Center since March 2018. He has been invaluable in shaping and guiding the residential services provided to the youth of Nevada.
